shouldn't i get $15 here?
what's happening in the bg is it calculates that you've saved 1.7s which gets rounded up to 2s which gives you $10. Thanks for playing btw!

Very nice starting point. A little bit of music/ambient sounds and either very slightly varying the pitch of the target hit sound, or just cleaning up the sound effect would go a long way in making the experience more comfortable.
It's annoying that the bonuses for higher accuracy mean some of the other upgrades can be harmful. I'd either make it so you click to fire (but can hold to fire as fast as possible), or make it so you can sell upgrades. Probably the second one. I like the effect of not having direct control of firing. A counter for how high your bonus is would be nice. I also think it would look a lot better if you added sprites for the gun aiming to the left and right.

I commented this kinda late but I played this game awhile ago and I forgot to comment this is an awesome game. I love the simple art, I love the upgrades, the love the simple concept.
